Denis Pushilin, head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, told Russian state television on Monday that preparations were nearing completion for the trial of soldiers captured after months of holding Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant. “Right now we can say that the material for 80 cases of Azov crimes is completely ready,” said Mr. Pushilin.
