Someone needs to pop duct tape on Sega and Sonic Frontiers! Following news that a Taiwanese store had some promotional material for the game that revealed a November release date and some upcoming DLC, Sega’s Japanese YouTube account accidentally uploaded a short trailer for the game. The company has since removed it, but not before eagle-eyed fans (and Nibel) on Twitter spotted the trailer, which featured a release date – November 8th. Sonic Frontiers is set to appear during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, which starts at 11am. PDT / 7 p.m. BST tonight. At this point, it seems very likely that the release date will be officially confirmed then, and Sega accidentally uploaded the Japanese version of the trailer a little too early. Oops!
