The footballer was photographed with his new girlfriend, PR student Clara Chia Marti, 23, at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia. And now paparazzi Jordi Martin, who works for Spanish TV program El Gordo y La Flaca, has shared pictures of Shakira looking “sad” while in a park with her children, after pictures emerged showing Pique kissing Clara. She captioned it: “I’ve been following Shakira for 12 years. “I followed her around the world. The day after the images of Gerard Pique kissing Clara went around the world, I went to Shakira’s house. “I want to thank her because I know how bad things are for her. “Couples can break up and absolutely nothing happens, but Gerard misbehaves and causes damage.” He added that Shakira had asked not to answer any questions about her children, encouraging her that she would “get over it.” Shakira and Gerard ended their 12-year relationship in June and it was quickly revealed that Gerard is secretly dating 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti who works for him. They are believed to have met while working on events at Kosmos’ production company. Those close to the couple say they have been seeing each other for some time. Shakira and Pique share two children together – Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven, first met in 2010 after he appeared in her Waka Waka song video, released for the 2010 World Cup that year. He did not reveal the reasons behind the split, but the pair agreed to a temporary custody arrangement – despite Gerard wanting the children to stay with him in Barcelona and Shakira wanting them to move to Miami with her. The couple will also have to gather their £300m fortune, including a £15m private jet and a £6m mansion. Shakira is also facing her own legal battle as she faces up to eight years in prison if found guilty of an alleged massive £12million tax fraud.
