Emergency services were called to the area of Albert and Booth streets at 5:20 p.m. They found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. Ottawa police say they responded to the call on Lorne Avenue, south of Albert Street near Booth. Witnesses in the area tell CTV News they heard several gunshots. Police say there is no threat to the public. This follows a shooting at the ByWard Market on Friday that left several injured and police searching for a suspect and two shootings on Saturday. –With files from CTV’s Shaun Vardon.
@OttawaPolice responded to a shots fired call in the 0-100 block of Lorne Ave at 5:18pm. on Monday, August 29. One victim was found at the scene with serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
