There were some tense moments in the St. John’s downtown area last night, but it all ended without further incident. The calls to the RNC at about 9:30 p.m. reported weapons at a residence, but after officers determined no weapons were involved, they arrested a man for assault, breaking and entering, uttering threats and breaching a peace bond. The 29-year-old was brought to court today.
